Once the mindscan has assessed the quality of those gathered, all worthy specimens were ushered on the next outbound transport. While most of them were stabled straightaway somewhere in the depth of the hull, a chosen few had a chance of getting a last glimpse on their homeplanet before the hyperdrive engines powered up for the first jump.
